Paul Bordenkircher has been in and around music and audio nearly his entire life. After finding an old reel-to-reel player in the trash at age 2, he has been fascinated by all things audio, but especially, the voice.
In high school, he led a student-run show on KROX-AM, his hometown radio station. Not long after graduating, he became an on-air talent, a pursuit which lasted throughout college at WDAY-AM in Fargo. He graduated Minnesota State University in nearby Moorhead with a bachelor's in music business, with an emphasis in audio production.
Before he even graduated college, Paul was working in world-class recording studios like the famous Power Station in New York, and Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis. His career then shifted to record labels and publishing, spending over two decades for such labels as EMI Christian, Integrity Music and RPJ Records.
All throughout this time through today, Paul has also contributed his voice to a countless number of projects, including one actually singing (!) on a McDonald's jingle. Other VoiceOver projects have included regional grocery chains and the California BLM.
CJ Borden, Paul's wife of nearly 25 years, is also an accomplished voice talent herself. In addition to an incredible talent as a singer and songwriter, she was equal partner with Paul in developing RPJ Records. She has also lent her voice to a number of clients, including Integrity Music and Coast Casinos.
