Paul Bordenkircher has been in and around audio production nearly his entire life. After finding an old reel-to-reel player in the trash at age 2, he has been fascinated by all things audio, but especially, the voice.
In high school, he led a student-run show on KROX-AM, his hometown radio station. Not long after graduating, he became an on-air talent, a pursuit which lasted throughout college, there and at WDAY-AM in Fargo. He graduated Minnesota State University in nearby Moorhead with a bachelor's in music business, with an emphasis in audio production.
Before he even graduated college, Paul was working in world-class recording studios like the famous Power Station in New York, and Paisley Park Studios in Minneapolis. All throughout this time through today, Paul has also contributed his voice to a countless number of projects, including one actually singing (!) on a jingle for McDonald's then newly-introduced twist cones.
If you happen to travel through one of California's numerous national and state parks, you may hear Paul's voice on a kiosk in the welcome center, detailing the Bureau of Land Management's policies and efforts to preserve and conserve their amazing natural resources.
CJ Borden, Paul's wife of nearly 25 years, is also an accomplished voice talent herself. In addition to an incredible talent as a singer and songwriter, she has also lent her voice to a number of clients, including Integrity Music and Coast Casinos.
